Each order is carefully checked and packaged before it leaves our warehouse.
All smaller packages are shipped via FedEx Ground or U.S Postal Service.
Large furniture and oversized packages will be shipped by freight carriers.
Freight Shipment
When a freight carrier is used, your order will be delivered to your curbside. You must make arrangements to move the furniture into your home and dispose of packing materials. All large items are well packed and palletized. Signature is required on the bill of lading at delivery. You will receive a call from the third party trucking company to make delivery arrangements within 3-5 days after your order has been shipped. Freight carrier shipping usually takes 1 to 4 weeks of your placing order.

Please note that delivery and pickup by freight companies is made during normal business hours. DYAG East carefully selects reliable freight companies, but we have no control over and are not liable for arrangements made between customers and a third party freight company. If your piece is in stock, it will be delivered within approximately 1 to 4 weeks of your order by freight carrier or 2 to 8 weeks by blanket wrapped shipper. Please contact us if your order is time sensitive and we will do our best to accommodate your requirement.

What is your return policy?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will be glad to refund you the full amount less shipping and handling cost or exchange within 14 days of the item delivery date as stated in the item’s return policy.

Call us to obtain a return authorization number. A return without our authorization will not be accepted. All returns must be in their original condition and packaging. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges and 15% restocking handling charges and will not be reimbursed for the original shipping cost. Special orders cannot be returned.
Once an item is inspected to be in its original condition as sent to the customer, full credit for the purchase price of the product, less shipping and 15% restocking handling cost, will be issued.

What if the item I receive is damaged?
Before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt please inspect the carton for any damage; crushing, dents, creasing, etc., and note this on the delivery receipt. Once you sign the delivery receipt and accept the shipment, the driver will depart and it will be your responsibility to unpack the item. The driver is not required to wait for you to un-wrap the item and inspect it unless there is visible damage to the package.
If, during delivery, it is obvious there is damage, you may ask the driver to open the carton and inspect the contents with you. Upon inspection, if damage is found you may refuse the shipment and write, "Refused, due to damage" on the delivery receipt. Be sure to keep a copy of the delivery receipt with your damage notations and contact us immediately. After accepting delivery, please keep all packaging materials for 3 days in case you discover damage or defects after delivery.
In the unlikely event you receive a damaged item, please keep all the packing materials and call us at 508-296-8580 or email us order@dyageast.com to have the item picked up and to schedule delivery of a replacement item at no cost. Please note that any damage on the product or packaging must be filed with us within 3 days of receipt. If you choose not to replace the product or replacement is not available, a full refund will be issued to you once the damaged item is returned to our warehouse.

What is you cancellation policy?
There will be no charge incurred if you cancel your order before your order is shipped. There will be 15% cancellation fee plus all shipping costs if your order has been shipped to you. Custom orders cannot be cancelled.
Do you offer layaway plan?

Chinese Antique Furniture was made from wood that was not kiln dried and existed in a high humidity climate for many years. As wood is a natural living material, it will expand in a humid environment and contract in a drier environment to settle into its new situation. Lines may develop when antique furniture makes adjustment to its new home. The development of lines does not affect the structural integrity of a piece but adds character and allure to the piece. Our goal is to give you all information needed to assist you in making a decision with your purchase. If you are not familiar with furniture of this nature, please contact us with any questions you may have.
The age of each Chinese antique is provided by our suppliers. We choose our antique furniture suppliers based on the years they have been in the collecting and restoring antique furniture business and the expertise and knowledge they possess within their trade.

What is your Privacy Policies?
We do not sell, rent, and share any information collected from you for any reason. Data collected from you will be used for DYAG East internal use only. We use data you provide to confirm and track your order, send our newsletter, new products, and promotions, and to analyze trends and statistics. At any time you may request to be unsubscribed. Although unlikely, in certain instances, we may be required to disclose your personal information when we have reason to believe that it is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against persons or entities that may be causing injury to you, to DYAG East, or to others. We may also disclose your personal identification information when we believe the law requires it.
Is the information I give you secure?
We use PayPal to process online order. All of your credit card information resides with PayPal, which provides the maximum security. We never see your credit card information if you place your order online. If you place your order by email or phone, your credit card information will be deleted once the transaction is completed.

Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. 8) Wood Furniture Care
How do I clean and care of my wood furniture?
Proper handling, cleaning, and placement of fine wood furniture are essential to keep your products in the best condition for many years to come.
Placement:
Temperature, humidity, and light can greatly affect the condition of wood furniture. Wood is a natural living material and will respond to changes in the atmosphere. Extreme fluctuations in temperature and strong light can cause furniture to dry out, fade, shrink, crack, or split. Extreme humidity can cause mold to expand.
It is very important to keep wood furniture in a stable temperature with regulated humidity.
- Do not expose fine wood furniture to extreme heat or humidity. Avoid placing furniture near a heat outlet such as radiators, hot air vents, air conditioners or open windows.
- Do not expose wood furniture to direct sunlight or artificial light as strong light may cause finishes to fade.
- Do not put plastic, rubber or hot objects such as hot coffee cups directly on a wood finish.
- Chemicals in those objects may soften or discolor the finish if left in contact with the furniture for a long period of time.
- Use a humidifier or dehumidifier to regulate the level of humidity desired. Placing a glass of water inside or underneath wood furniture can also help to maintain the correct level of humidity.
Cleaning:
- Clear dust with a soft, clean cloth, dusting with the grain of the wood. The cloth may be dampened with a furniture dusting-aid or a furniture care polish product. Always follow the manufacturer’s directions on the product.
- Never use chemicals, abrasive kitchen cleansers, other commercial cleaners, or solvents on wood pieces.
- The furniture may be washed with a mild soap intended for that purpose or a furniture cleaning product available in most grocery stores. Follow the directions on the product, use a soft cloth and wipe with the grain.
- To best protect finish and keep shine of wood furniture, polish it with good quality, non-silicone furniture polish, following the grain of the wood every six months or so. Avoid using oily polishes or waxes.
- Avoid silicone-based or any type of products that may leave an oily film on the furniture since they may cloud of the finish and is very difficult to remove. Also avoid oil based polishes, as they tend to collect dust and even darken wood.
- Wipe spilled liquids from the surface immediately with a soft, slightly damp cloth, in the direction of the wood grain.
- Scratches from normal use may occur on furniture over time. These can be touched up with a scratch remover or special touch-up pens or sticks available at your furniture dealer or at many paint stores.
Handling:
- To keep joints in optimal conditions, avoid harsh pushing or dragging of furniture across floor.
- When moving furniture, pieces should be padded and covered for transport to avoid scratches.
